An Early Christmas Surprise
December is a special time for kids, but the holidays can be a tough time for those in foster care. The holidays are often referred to as a time for family, but for the parentless it becomes a reminder of the tragic situation they are in. A Case for Character wishes to make the holidays "merry and bright" by sharing love and kindness through brand-new suitcases.
Local foster agency, A Positive Attitude Outlook, Inc., in Rancho Cucamonga, California, held their annual Christmas pizza party on December 8th, but this year there was a big surprise. The Case for Character Team showed up at the party with live entertainment on character as well as 35 brand-new suitcases!
Every child received a brand-new suitcase and character-building materials. The foster teens that attended the party were also the first to receive the long-awaited spoken word music CD from our specially-created book for teens titled WOW: 10 Words of Wisdom.
