Thank You, Partners and Champions!

This past year has been an exciting year for A Case for Character with the introduction of our two newest partnership programs: CFC Partners and CFC Champions. Both programs have expanded our ministry as well as created new opportunities for our donors and advocates to get "hands-on" helping foster kids.

In January, our very first CFC Champions, LeRoy and Cheryl Matthews of Ventura, California, kicked off the program with their campaign to provide 41 foster kids and teens with brand-new suitcases and character-building books and music CDs. This December, they launched their latest campaign raising funds to provide for 50 foster kids.

Delia Akao, another CFC Champion, helped to expand our borders as she and her family ran a campaign that provided our suitcases for ten foster teen boys in Arizona. [Learn more about becoming a CFC Champion]

Our CFC Partners program has created a way for churches, clubs, groups, organizations, and communities to get involved by hosting campaigns and distributions.

Crosslight Family Ministries, a church in Alta Loma, California, has been an ever-faithful Partner of A Case for Character with hosting a number of Foster Family Feasts to distribute our suitcases to local foster families. These events invite local foster families to an evening of food, fun, and entertainment, plus a special surprise for every foster child there: a brand-new suitcase and character materials.
